Try your first paid purchase for 14 days. If it is not for you, ask for a full refund. This first-purchase guarantee applies once; a free promotional period does not use it. Later payments and renewals have a 14-day full-refund period when no photo review has been completed since that payment. A refund does not cancel a subscription. Cancel separately in the account billing portal before the next billing date, or email [email protected]. Cancellation keeps your unused credits and local results. A refund removes the credits from the refunded payment. There are no automatic top-ups.

Standard uses one credit per completed photo; optional Turbo uses 2 credits. Both include the focus check, the explanation, a scene description, visible-content tags, search, and every export format. A RAW and JPEG with the same filename stem in the same folder are paired and reviewed once, using the RAW. Files catalogued separately count separately. An unreadable file or failed review returns its credit automatically at the chosen rate; opening results and downloading exports cost nothing extra.
Turbo selects cloud processing designed for quicker turnaround at 2 credits per photo. Standard uses one credit. Both use the same model, native-detail evidence, deeper focus checks and metadata workflow. Choose before queueing a review; pausing or resuming does not change its price. Turnaround still depends on file preparation, your connection and service demand. The 2x rate refers to credits, not a speed guarantee.
No. Purchased credits and your monthly credit allowance stay in your account until you use them, including after cancellation. Your paid plan’s top-up rate applies while that subscription is active.
No. Chimp shows the chosen processing mode and credit total before starting, then reserves that amount per photo. When your balance runs out, reviews stop until you choose to add credits. There is no automatic top-up or usage overage charge.

Every plan gets the same focus analysis, editable descriptions and content tags, local shoot search, supported file types, dry-run file actions, and XMP, CSV, and JSONL exports. Pro and Whole Roll also include Perfect Shot, which ranks completed reviews inside a local library and can save a small 5% or 10% shortlist without using extra review credits.
No. It gives Pro and Whole Roll customers a short place to start, based on the completed reviews in that local library. It considers composition, light, and the moment, spreads picks across approximate visual groups, and holds back similar frames from nearby file sequences. Each pick keeps its reason and nearby alternatives. It can pick fewer photos or none when a shoot has no clear standouts. Your ratings, focus labels, and final selections remain separate.
Perfect Shot needs the quality assessment returned by the current review. Older results that do not include it must be reviewed again at the selected Standard or Turbo credit rate. Once those reviews are present, recalculating or exporting a shortlist uses no extra credits.
